About us

Why a Tapas Bar?

Our Story

We wanted to provide a space that people would feel relaxed, with a holiday feel and some great world music.

How it started

We are the faces of Las Rada – Jules & Joanne Bradbury, husband & wife team! We have many years of experience in both retail and the catering business. Having previously owned a successful restaurant in Carlow named ‘Strada’, we decided to head to Naas.

Why a Tapas Bar, you may ask? Well, we were on Holidays in Austria of all places and came across an Austrian Tapas Bar. The place was full of character, full of people and buzzing! We loved the place. So we decided to open a bar, where people could come and have some unpretentious, tasteful small plates. Offering food that we love, from anywhere in the world, not just Spain. But also, to provide a space that people would feel relaxed, with a holiday feel and some great world music.

We searched Naas for an appropriate space and found the ‘Club House’ an unlikely venue for a Tapas Bar! But we could see beyond the ‘Club House’ to our little exotic Tapas Bar. So after 4 months of renovation, Las Rada Wine & Tapas Bar finally opened the doors to our first customer – Ana Dorada and her husband, the first week of June 2009.
We then moved premises in 2014…only accross the road, to a renovated an old stone cottage.
